With this monumental moment coming up in a week, Ripley got candid, talking about her time and journey in the WWE. She revealed how there came a low point in her professional life where she wanted to quit.

Talking backstage during an interview, Ripley discussed her start in the WWE and what performing in her home country meant to her. She said that there were times when she was really low and didn’t know how to move forward. The Judgment Day member said, “I wanted to quit. I wanted to give it all up.”

She continued how she reminded herself that she was Rhea Ripley and that she needed to be the most dominant woman in the WWE. Her rise from NXT to the main roster has been something that hasn’t been seen before. From her drastic physical to her cosmetic change has been admired by the fans. She has been the WWE Women’s World Champion since April 1, 2023 where she won it from Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39.

At the upcoming Elimination Chamber on February 24, 2024, she will be defending her title against Nia Jax. Jax has been on a path of destruction in the women’s division. Jax has been gunning for the title ever since she got back in the WWE. This interview was interrupted by her before the two got into a verbal confrontation regarding their upcoming match.

Jax began by saying that she was glad that Elimination CHamber was taking place in Mami’s home country. This is cause once Jax beats her, she can go crying back to her Mami. However, Ripley had the perfect retort to this.

Mami first confirmed that every time Jax had the upper hand on her, it was due to Jax attacking her from the back. However, when the two come face to face, Mami’s hometown will come into play.
