NCAA Gymnastics Update: Utah State Gymnast Calls for ‘Civic Engagement’ Support from Community

“Jules is an incredibly hard worker and will be an asset to our program,” Utah State head gymnastics coach Kristin White commented when a rising gymnast chose Utah State to continue her fifth year of gymnastics. A two-time Pac-12 academic honor roll recipient, the gymnast turns out to be an asset not only on the mat but also beyond that as she stood for a cause of society.

A graduate of Arizona State, she holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental design and will work toward a second bachelor’s degree in law and constitutional studies from Utah State. Marking her educational vision towards the upcoming elections, the young gymnast recently elaborated her spell to educate the common man about their civic duties.

The USA Gymnastics’ official page recently published Juliette Boyer’s video of civic engagement on Instagram. It carried the caption, “Juliette’s Cause – Civic Engagement.” In the video, the three-time Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association Scholastic All-American gymnast elaborated on the significance of voting.

She said that it is important to visit because people get a chance to make a change in their community, whether locally or nationally. Though many take voting for granted, she exclaims, she is thankful for the opportunities given to her by the Pac-12 and the Summer of 2022.

With more than 200 student-athletes participating in the awareness program, they deep dive into learning more about the Voting Rights Act, of 1965. Exploring a variety of museums and historical locations this while, Boyer remarks ‘Edmund Pettus Bridge’ as her best experience on the excursion.

Boyer is much vocal about the exemplary impact these awareness programs generate, to make people aware of their constitutional rights and duties. And, not stopping by just here, Juliette Boyer aims to dedicate her primary focus to the upcoming strive of the 2024 gymnastics season. Amidst her preparations for the same, Boyer is blessed to have her former coach, to train her for the same.

Utah State announced in December about signing Juliette Boyer to compete for the Aggies in the 2024 season. The Utah State head of gymnastics is excited about Boyer’s place. “I am thrilled that Juliette chose Utah State to continue her fifth year of gymnastics,” said Christine White, who was her former coach at Arizona State.

White is set to coach Boyer again in Utah this season. Therefore, the coach had to say a word or two about the gymnast. “She has some of the prettiest technique in the NCAA and I know our fans are going to enjoy watching her compete in the Spectrum,” White conceded. After her call of duty for the society, fans are surely eager to see her fulfilling the duties for Utah on the mat.
