Erling Haaland's Net worth 2024, salary, and endorsements

As per Celebrity Net Worth, Erling Haaland's net worth is $40 million. Those earnings are set to reach $46 million with other bonuses and clauses. He receives another $12 million from off-field earnings. At the Etihad, the striker is only behind Kevin De Bruyne on the payroll list. His current salary at Manchester City is $474,952 per week which amounts to a base salary of $24 million. Other than that, he reportedly made an additional $4 million from his endorsement deals. Currently, he endorses brands like Samsung, Viaplay, and Hyperice.

But that value is expected to skyrocket in the near future. Already in March 2023, he signed a $24 million deal per year with Nike. While Adidas and Puma were eyeing his signature, the striker decided to continue his eight-year association with Nike. As his stock was on the rise, Nike was quick to realize the potential and latched him onto a contract.

Early life

On July 21, 2000, Erling Haaland was born to Alfie Haaland and Gry Marita. He has an elder brother, Astor Haaland, and a younger sister named Gabrielle Haaland.

Interestingly, he was born in Leeds as his father played for Leeds United at that time. But in 2004, his family moved back to Bryne in Norway. The lethal striker was a sports enthusiast from the very beginning. He enjoyed playing several sports like golf, handball, and many more. But as time passed, he discovered his passion for the beautiful game.

At the age of just five, he joined his local soccer academy in Bryne. After that, it was just onward and upwards for the soccer star!

Erling Haaland's club career

Haaland first represented his hometown club Bryne in the 2015-16 season. Before making his senior debut, he played quite a while for the reserves. During that spell, he impressed the manager by scoring 18 goals in just 14 games. He made his actual debut on the senior team just months before his 16th birthday.

Eventually, the soccer universe got to know about the unbelievable talent hiding in Norway. Before going anywhere overseas, he played for Molde. That's where he met Manchester United legend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He took some time off to adjust to the higher level. Haaland only scored 4 goals from 20 appearances during his first season.

But the lethal striker never looked back after that. He finished the 2018 season as the club's top-scorer with 16 goals. And that was it, his time playing local soccer had come to an end. Before the 2018 season, he signed a five-year deal with Red Bull Salzburg, in Austria. During his brief spell in Austria, the Norwegian lit the soccer universe on fire.

In just 27 games, he scored 5 hat tricks for the club. In the UEFA Champions League, he became only the second teenager after Karim Benzema to score in each of his first three appearances. He then became the first teenager to score in five consecutive games in the competition. At Salzburg, he made 27 appearances and scored 29 goals. Shockingly, 28 of these goals came in only 22 games.

He then spent the next two-and-a-half seasons at Borussia Dortmund. In December 2019, the German soccer club signed him on a four-and-a-half-year deal. Before COVID hit the soccer universe, Haaland became the first player in Bundesliga history to score seven goals in their first three games. By the 2020-21 season had ended, he had scored 41 goals of which 27 were in the league.

The fans mass-voted him as the Bundesliga Player of the Season. His final season in Germany was heavily impacted by injuries. He suffered a hip flexor injury and couldn't play for a minimum of two months. He ended his tenure in Germany with 86 goals in 89 appearances.

Finally, he came to Manchester City. In May 2022, Manchester City announced the arrival of the lethal striker in England. He started his tenure in the Premier League with a bang. During his debut game, he banged in two goals against West Ham. After that, it was just MAYHEM!

Haaland broke Michael Owen's 48-league games record by scoring three hat tricks in just eight games. By December, he had already reached 25 Premier League goals. The Norwegian had easily surpassed the previous season's goal tallies of Mohamed Salah and Son Heung-min.

In March, he became only the third-ever player to score five goals in a Champions League game. The other two are Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano. In April 2023, he scored his 50 goals of the season across all competitions. Currently, with just a game left in the UEFA Champions League, he has scored 52 goals in 52 games. In 71 games for the Cityzens, Haaland scored 69 goals.

During his first season in England, Haaland has already won the English Premier League and the FA Cup.

Erling Haaland's journey with his national team Norway

Haaland represented Norway for the first time at the U15 level in September 2015. Years later, he scored nine goals in a single game against Honduras for the Norway U20s. Due to that performance, he won the Golden Boot at the U20 World Cup.

He then made his senior debut for Norway on August 28, 2019. Despite being eligible to represent England, the lethal striker's heart was always in Norway. During the 2020-21 UEFA Nations League B, he scored six goals in six games.

But his country, unfortunately, couldn't get through to the World Cup. Out of the ten qualifiers, the Norwegian played only six of them. Despite banging in goals, his country paid the price after winning just one game out of the final four qualifiers. In 28 games, Haaland scored 27 goals for Norway.

Erling Haaland's various soccer achievements

The striker achieved tremendous success with Manchester City in his debut season. He won the treble by lifting the three critical points of success: the English Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, and the FA Cup. Moreover, he finished second to Lionel Messi in the FIFA Best Men's Player of the Year award after scoring 52 goals.

Erling Haaland's girlfriend and personal life

Haaland is currently dating 19-year-old Isabel Haugseng Johansen. She also used to be a soccer player in Bryne, Norway. Haaland's better half seemingly prefers keeping her life lowkey. Currently, she is living with the lethal striker in the Northern Quarter.

The two of them reportedly met each other during their childhood days. At one point, both of them played for the same soccer club in Norway. But the two of them only started dating after Haaland went to Germany. Sources around them have claimed that they are in a very serious relationship.

The two of them do not make a lot of appearances in public. During the 2022 FIFA World Cup, they went on a vacation to Spain. There they resided at the striker's holiday villa in Marbella. On New Year's Eve, the two of them were dining at the Ivy, in Manchester.

Most recently, the two of them together attended Manchester City's after-party. The blue side of Manchester had managed to win the league title for the fifth time in six years. Both of them turned up in sky-blue nylon-ish attire. Haaland sported a sky-blue shirt and pajamas while his better half wore a sky-blue dress for the party.

The couple made an appearance at the Ballon d'Or awards along with Isabel. She wore a sparkling dress while Haaland looked sharp in a suit.
