Halep takes legal action against a health supplement company

While the 32-year-old tennis player is fighting to prove herself right and to get the actual truth out, she recently submitted a legal complaint to the Supreme Court of the state of New York. The Romanian tennis player will now be pursuing legal action against the Canadian health supplements company for the damages that they have caused her, claiming to be around $10 million.

According to CNN, Halep utilized Schinoussa supplements, manufactured by Quantum Nutrition, during the 2022 US Open. She tested positive for roxadustat shortly after the competition. According to Halep, this information was not indicated on the product label, and this led her to file a case against the corporation for negligent and insignificant product development.
